Olympic athlete Jessica Fox has won first place in both the C1 and K1 categories during the World Cup event in Prague.

This impressive performance comes after a nine-month break, which was necessary for surgery to remove a non-cancerous tumor from her left kidney. After her recovery, Fox slowly returned to international competition, starting last week in Tacen, Slovenia, where she won a silver medal in the K1 event. Although she was still dealing with a wrist injury during that first race, she emphasized that she felt more confident and physically stable during the Prague competition.

Consequently, she finished ahead of Martina Satková from the Czech Republic and Kimberley Woods from Great Britain, who took second and third place. Fox asserted that her victory was the result of staying calm and using her technical skills during the final part of the course.
