In Arwal, four people died after a car drove into a canal, although the driver survived by breaking a window. Other accidents in the area involved tractors carrying sand, auto-rickshaws, and pickup trucks.

In Mumbai, a BEST bus lost control in the Dadar area and hit several vehicles and pedestrians, resulting in one death and three serious injuries. Authorities are now investigating whether mechanical failure or driver negligence caused the crash.
