The Seoul Foreign Resident Center has announced two different cultural programs designed to help foreign residents experience and understand traditional Korean heritage.

首爾外國居民中心宣布了兩項不同的文化計畫，旨在幫助外國居民體驗並了解韓國傳統遺產。

The first program will take place on June 20, 2026, and includes a guided visit to the National Gugak Center. This initiative aims to show participants the difference between modern globalized Korean media and 'gugak,' which is a mix of court music, folk traditions, and dance. The center emphasized that the goal is to help twenty-five participants learn about the beauty and rhythms of Korean history through a professional performance at the Umyeondang venue.

第一個計畫將於 2026 年 6 月 20 日舉行，包括由導遊帶領參觀國立國樂院。此舉旨在向參與者展示現代全球化的韓國媒體與「國樂」（結合了宮廷音樂、民間傳統與舞蹈）之間的區別。中心強調，目標是希望 25 名參與者能透過在雨眠堂（Umyeondang）觀賞一場專業演出，學習韓國歷史的美感與節奏。

Furthermore, a second program focusing on the 'Dano' seasonal tradition will be held on June 19 at the Agricultural Museum. This event is open to twenty residents and focuses on the meaning of the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Participants will take part in traditional games and make sweet flag soap, a practice historically used to maintain health and avoid bad luck. Consequently, these activities will help residents understand the farming origins of the holiday and its connection to the rice planting cycle.

此外，第二個聚焦於「端午」季節傳統的計畫將於 6 月 19 日在農業博物館舉行。此活動對 20 名居民開放，重點在於探討陰曆五月五日的意義。參與者將參加傳統遊戲並製作端午香皂，這是在歷史上用於維持健康與避邪的做法。因此，這些活動將幫助居民了解該節日的農業起源及其與種稻週期的關係。

Both programs use a first-come, first-served registration system to allow foreign residents to engage directly with traditional Korean arts and customs.
