Jack P Shepherd, a long-time actor on the ITV show Coronation Street, has revealed that he has completed his third hair transplant and has decided to shave his head.

Mr. Shepherd has had several procedures to deal with the emotional effects of hair loss. He first had operations in 2018 and 2019, as he felt the first one was not enough. He explained that these decisions were caused by a loss of self-confidence, which was made worse by negative comments on social media and the pressure of working in the industry for twenty years. Consequently, he believed these steps were necessary for his mental health.

During a recent episode of the 'On the Sofa' podcast with colleagues Ben Price and Colson Smith, Mr. Shepherd discussed his latest procedure. He decided to have this third operation while on paternity leave. Although his wife, Hanni, had some concerns about the timing since they are expecting a baby, the actor felt that his hair loss required immediate action. His colleagues reacted to his shaven head with a mix of laughter and praise, and other co-stars, such as Jane Danson and Danny Miller, also offered their support.
