A grand jury in Hamilton County has officially charged Darron Lee, a former professional football player, with first-degree murder in the death of Gabriela Carvalho Perpétuo.

Furthermore, prosecutors claim that Mr. Lee used ChatGPT to find out if specific injuries could look like they were caused by a fall in the bathroom, which suggests he tried to make the death look like an accident.

Consequently, moving to Tennessee without permission was a violation of his probation. District Attorney Coty Wamp stated that a secondary charge for tampering with evidence was dropped to focus on the murder case. The state is now deciding whether to seek the death penalty, although a life sentence is the standard for this crime.
