SpaceX and its partner company, xAI, are facing serious legal, regulatory, and environmental challenges as the parent company prepares for a major initial public offering (IPO).

Despite these issues, SpaceX has admitted these 'high risks' in its financial filings and has set aside $530 million for legal costs.
