Police forces in Maharashtra and Haryana are currently investigating two separate incidents that resulted in several deaths.

Sub-Inspector Imran Pathan stated that the victims were a husband, a wife, and their two children. Early reports suggest that they died in different ways; the father apparently died by hanging, while the other three family members reportedly died after falling into a well. The bodies have been moved to a mortuary, and the police emphasized that the exact details of the event depend on the results of the post-mortem exams.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Karan Goel confirmed that forensic teams visited the site after local residents reported the discovery. Evidence found at the scene included a scarf tied tightly around the victim's neck, as well as a grey shirt and trousers. A senior official noted that because the body was partially clothed, there is a possibility that the victim was sexually assaulted before being strangled. Consequently, the Gurugram police are sharing photos of the deceased internally and checking missing person reports to identify her.
