Why do this? Because in reports, the person receiving the action is more important than the person doing it.

Stop using "And" to connect everything. Use Connectors of Contrast to show a sophisticated relationship between two facts:

This structure tells the reader: "I am not just listing facts; I am analyzing the situation."
