Auburn University and the University of Oklahoma have officially signed two new student-athletes using the transfer portal.

Auburn University's softball team has gained Katelyn Hubley, a right-handed pitcher who previously played for Campbell University. During her time at Campbell, Hubley played 163 innings, recorded 150 strikeouts, and maintained a 2.28 ERA. Furthermore, she was named a First Team All State Pitcher and Region 5C Player of the Year while at Mills Godwin High School. Coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux emphasized that adding Hubley and Mak Stephens is a strategic move to fill the gaps left by the departures of SJ Geurin and Malayna Tamborra.

Meanwhile, the University of Oklahoma has added outfielder Macie Harter to its team. Harter previously played for Middle Tennessee State University, where she showed strong offensive skills during her sophomore year with a .346 batting average. Consequently, she was selected for the Conference USA second team. This move marks the first transfer portal acquisition for Coach Patty Gasso's program during the current offseason.
