Authorities in Mexico are investigating Nancy Napoles, the municipal president of Tenancingo, for allegedly planning a fake kidnapping to steal public money.

Prosecutors emphasize that the plan was organized by Napoles' husband and brother-in-law, who are now wanted by the police. This claim is supported by evidence from three arrested suspects and photos released by the authorities.
