Turkish students have won 14 medals and seven honorable mentions in several international science olympiads held across Europe and Asia.

The Turkish team competed in four different subject areas. In the field of informatics, students participated in the 6th European Girls’ Olympiad in Italy, where 218 students from 59 countries competed. Turkish students won three silver medals and one bronze medal. At the same time, the 10th European Physics Olympiad in Sweden included 199 participants from 41 countries, resulting in one silver medal, one bronze medal, and one honorable mention.

Furthermore, Turkish students competed in the 26th Asian Physics Olympiad in South Korea. Among 209 students from 27 countries, the Turkish representatives earned two bronze medals and six honorable mentions. Finally, the 30th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad in Romania, which featured 133 students from 23 nations, saw the best results with one gold medal, three silver medals, and two bronze medals. Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacir emphasized these achievements on social media, praising the students for improving the country's international reputation.
