A male detainee in his 40s died after colliding with a train following his escape from a custody vehicle in Hertfordshire.

During this interval, a physical altercation occurred, resulting in the escape of the detainee and the injury of two security personnel. These individuals were subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment of non-serious injuries.
