The diplomatic mission yielded 96 memoranda of understanding and partnership agreements, with a cumulative estimated valuation of US$1.65 billion. Notably, a state-owned Kazakh entity has indicated a prospective interest in a public listing on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

The two jurisdictions have agreed to the establishment of an Uzbek consulate-general in Hong Kong and the implementation of a reciprocal 30-day visa-free entry arrangement. This represents a significant shift from the current regime, wherein HKSAR passport holders are limited to 10 visa-free days and Uzbek nationals require visas for entry. Furthermore, the parties have signed an aviation agreement to facilitate direct flights and have commenced negotiations for a double taxation avoidance agreement to mitigate fiscal impediments for cross-border enterprises.
