Bahamas 正進行 General Election ，以決定其 41 席 House of Assembly 的組成。

本屆選舉週期之特點，在於由 Prime Minister Philip Davis 領導的現任 Progressive Liberal Party （ PLP ）、反對黨 Free National Movement （ FNM ）以及 Coalition of Independents （ COI ）之間的競爭。若 PLP 獲勝，Prime Minister Davis 將成為自 1997 年以來，首位取得連續兩任任期的 Bahamian 領導人。為降低與颶風季節相關的風險，選舉日期由原定的 10 月提前。
